Hypez LTD provides Deklarium as software for Shopify shops. The app checks images in the merchant's shop for provenance data, classifies them and can display a label in the storefront.
Deklarium is a tool. Whether a labelling duty applies in a particular case is a legal question and is not answered by this app. Nothing in the product or in these texts is legal advice, and no outcome is guaranteed.
Where a valid signature exists, the origin is proven. Where none exists, the app forms a judgement that can be wrong. The app always states which of the two cases applies. The machine-readable marking under Article 50(2) of the EU AI Act is not covered.
Billing runs through Shopify. Subscriptions renew every 30 days and can be cancelled at any time; Shopify prorates. The free plan has no term.
The app is provided as it is. No specific availability is owed. Maintenance and outages at Shopify or at the providers named in the privacy policy can interrupt the service.
Liability follows the German version of these terms, which applies without limitation. Liability for intent and gross negligence, and under mandatory statutory provisions, remains unaffected.
